- Vellum (Michaels $.50 a sheet)
- Glass vase (Michaels $1.99)
- Ribbon
- Hot glue gun
- Computer/ Printer
I used photoshop to design my template.
Here is what it will look like once it is printed.
I purchased this paper cutter and it is beyond worth it! So now you have to cut out your template.
This is what it will look like when you have done so.
Now it is time to put that vase to work.
You have to wrap your template around your vase. You will want to make this as even as you possibly can.
Now using your hot glue gun put 2 dabs, one at the top and one at the bottom will hold just fine.
Now to hide your seams you can glue some of your ribbon on to the vellum
You will now take some of the ribbon and glue it around the top of your vase, this will hide the end of the vellum and make it look neat.
I decided to use both colors, this served 2 purposes. First, it allowed me to incorporate both of my colors. Second, it was more space to cover the vellum.
You will do the same process on the bottom of you glass.
This is what you will end up with!
They came out beautiful and it is a great way to pay tribute to those who have passed. They are missed and deserve nothing but the best!
If you have any questions on this project just let me know!
